OUR MONTHLY TOUCH OF THAI
PLAYSHOP IS HAPPENING THIS FALL!

NEW LOCATION:
We are thrilled to announce that we're heading to a new tranquil indoor location for our Fall series. We are being hosted by the beautiful School of Spiritual Development offering Mysticism for the Modern World:
located near Trader Joe's
on 2466 East Stadium Boulevard
in Ann Arbor (48104).

YOU'RE INVITED:
Join Tatianah Thunberg and Kelly Kempter, of Sacred Breath Healing Studies, for a relaxing and skill building monthly playshop! Join us once or for the four part series. Every month we focus on a new theme and introduce new technique.  We begin with a centering meditation and movement practices to prepare ourselves for a session.  Each person gives and receives a 35 minute guided Thai massage.  We videotape a condensed version of the sequence so students can practice what they learned at home.   No partner or prior experience necessary - join us solo or bring a beloved or friend. Terrence Campagna, a student at Sun Shen and enthusiastic energy practitioner, will be joining us as our teaching assistant.

Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm

ANNUAL FALL RETREAT:
OCTOBER 23-25, 2015

"The first thing is having the experience of touch, of profound contact with things, with the universe, without mental commotion. Everything begins there: touching the universe deeply. When you touch deeply, you no longer need to let go. That occurs naturally." ~Daniel Odier

As the season shifts to late harvest, join Tatianah Thunberg and Kelly Kempter, of Sacred Breath Healing Studies, for a restorative retreat in the heart of colorful fall at Song of the Morning Yoga Ranch. Co-creating a safe space to explore healing touch grounded in compassion and loving kindness, we'll introduce you to the overlapping practices of partner yoga and northern style Thai yoga massage. Our intention is to teach you a 60 minute Thai yoga sequence and a 60 minute partner yoga practice that you can share with your friends and family. To support our practice, we will also share breath work, meditation, Tai Chi, yoga nidra and time in nature, all within the supportive container of a loving community.

Dynamic partner yoga postures, breath regulation and meditation offer an opportunity to explore Hatha yoga while cultivating closeness and subtle communication with another. Thai yoga massage offers an opportunity to continue this conversation through giving and receiving touch grounded in the breath and supported by compassion and loving kindness. Both practices warm and stretch muscles, release emotional tension, while increasing the flow of life force energy, opening practitioners to the reciprocal exchange of giving and receiving.

All singles & diads & levels of experience are welcome – arrive solo or with a friend, family member or beloved! Everyone will have someone to practice with.

***Thai Yoga Massage and Partner Yoga are practiced on the ground. Come prepared to sit, kneel, lunge and lay on your back and belly***
